Bring your occupational therapy expertise to K-12 students as a full-time team member serving in a school-based environment. This rewarding contract opportunity needs a dedicated OT to support the diverse developmental needs of children and adolescents from now through the end of the academic year.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time position
• Assignment extends ASAP through end of school year
• K-12 student population

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) is required
• Experience in both hospital and school settings is highly valued
• Skills in fine and gross motor development, with expertise supporting growth in these areas
• Comfortable collaborating with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) and other school professionals
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with varying needs
• Effective communication skills with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Assess and address fine and gross motor skill challenges in a school setting
• Deliver therapy to K-12 students, adapting interventions according to student progress
• Partner with school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the educational environment
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and student progress
• Guide and mentor COTAs, ensuring high standards of therapeutic care and support
• Advocate for students’ needs by attending relevant meetings and collaborating on IEP teams
