This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with experience across hospital, home health, school, or healthcare settings. The role focuses on supporting therapy interventions that enhance fine and gross motor skills for children in a K-12 educational environment. This full-time contract position runs through the end of the year and is available for immediate start.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school, hospital, or home health settings
  • Strong skills in fine motor and gross motor interventions
  • Ability to design and implement customized therapy plans to support students’ developmental needs
  • Familiarity with K-12 educational environments and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to children from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to improve motor skills and functional independence
  • Document progress and collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers
  • Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs within the school setting
  • Support students in achieving their educational and developmental goals
