Desired Qualifications:

• Active license to practice Occupational Therapy
• Previous experience in hospital-based OT or critical illness rehab setting preferred
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety
• Effective communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
• Capable of supervising OT assistants and supporting student learning

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess patient functionality and create individualized care plans in response to physician orders
• Implement therapy interventions and closely monitor progress
• Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to collaborative planning for patient discharge
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and students, ensuring adherence to best practices
• Complete timely, accurate patient documentation and daily progress notes
• Adhere strictly to personal and patient safety standards in all job-related activities
• Promote high standards in patient care quality and continuous improvement initiatives
• Educate patients and families regarding adaptive equipment and therapy goals
• Exhibit professionalism and resourcefulness while adapting to new challenges
