This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist passionate about hospital-based care. You'll join a reputable rehab unit collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, benefiting from expert leadership, and participating in care that spans physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Schedule/Hours:

  • 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
  • Will work every 3rd weekend
  • Rotating holidays as part of perm staff modality

Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in CA
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant therapy experience
  • At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
  • Experience with Cerner EMR is a plus
  • Open to first-time travelers committed to learning and growth

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients requiring occupational therapy within a collaborative inpatient rehab unit
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and document progress using Cerner EMR
  • Participate in patient care planning with PT, OT, and Speech professionals
  • Communicate effectively with the charge manager and allied health staff
  • Ensure care standards align with facility protocols and California regulations
