Schedule/Hours:
- Orientation begins every Monday
- NBO: 16 hours
- General: 36-40 hours per week (OT after 40), or 48 hours per week (OT after 48)
- Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
Desired Skills & Requirements:
- Valid OT license, eligible for practice in Iowa
- Previous experience in a hospital therapy setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system a plus
- Flexibility to float across local campuses within the same discipline
- Collaborative, compassionate, and adaptable communication style
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services as a vital member of an interdisciplinary care team
- Contribute clinically and professionally in the provision and management of patient-centered care
- Document thoroughly and accurately in EPIC EMR
- Rotate on-call responsibilities as scheduled
- Precepting or charge duties as assigned, with additional compensation
