Seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Occupational Therapist to play a vital role supporting K-12 students in a school-based setting. This full-time contract opportunity runs from ASAP through the end of the academic year, offering a chance to make a significant impact in the lives of students by fostering both fine and gross motor skill development in collaboration with educators and support staff.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time schedule
• Contract runs ASAP through the end of year

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy license
• Experience in both hospital and school-based OT settings is highly valued
• Familiarity working with grades K-12
• Expertise in promoting fine and gross motor skill development
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement effective treatment for diverse student needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and other therapists
• COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) supervisory experience a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to support academic success and classroom participation
• Collaborate with teachers and school teams to integrate therapy goals into daily activities
• Document student progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure goal achievement
• Educate staff and families on strategies to generalize skills in multiple settings
• Consult with medical professionals or community resources as necessary
