A travel Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in Genesee, ID, focusing on supporting hospitalized patients in their recovery and rehabilitation journey. This role involves evaluating, planning, and delivering tailored treatment programs to maximize patients’ functional abilities. The position requires active participation in discharge planning, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and design age-appropriate occupational therapy treatment plans for physically disabled patients.
  • Implement and adjust therapy programs based on patient progress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during discharge planning.
  • Perform necessary administrative and documentation duties.
  • Participate in performance improvement projects.
  • Maintain professional growth through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Idaho Occupational Therapist (OT) license (must be included with submission).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (attach with application).
  • Minimum of 2 years recent hospital-based occupational therapy experience, with preference given to candidates experienced in acute rehabilitation.
  • Ability to work 4 shifts a week, Wednesday through Saturday, with 10-hour shifts.
