Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities to develop individualized occupational therapy plans.

  • Document patient progress and adjust therapy techniques in accordance with ongoing needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nursing staff, and other therapists to support comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on best practices for safe, effective rehabilitation and aftercare.
  • Maintain compliance with all hospital protocols, safety procedures, and state guidelines within the therapeutic setting.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient engagement and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
