An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled occupational therapist to deliver exceptional patient care in a hospital environment. This contract role requires a professional comfortable working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with the case load split approximately evenly between the two. The schedule is variable and will include weekends.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapy license
  • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient hospital therapy settings
  • Ability to provide comprehensive OT services across diverse patient populations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and team interactions
  • Competent documentation and organizational abilities
  • Must be adaptable to changing caseloads and environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient’s needs
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Conduct evaluations, provide treatments, and monitor progress for both inpatient and outpatient clients
  • Educate patients and families on exercises, home programs, and adaptive strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records according to hospital standards
  • Uphold hospital policies and professional best practices at all times
