As a therapist on assignment, you'll work with a variety of patients, expanding your clinical skills as you adapt to different home health environments. Schedule/Hours:
- Two options: Guaranteed 36-hour workweeks or a flexible, non-guaranteed hour arrangement
- Weekend coverage may be required
- Travel within assigned county territories and potentially neighboring regions to maintain case load
Qualifications:
- Current California Occupational Therapy License
- BLS Certification (active)
- Valid Driver’s License, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
- Up-to-date immunizations: TB (annual), MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap (within 10 years), Flu (annual)
- Ability to pass a drug screen and physical
- New graduates are welcome—mentorship provided
- Willingness to treat all patient types, including Covid+ and Covid PUI
Position Responsibilities:
- Delivering patient-centered occupational therapy in a home health setting
- Completing patient evaluations, progress updates, and discharge planning using OASIS
- Ensuring comprehensive documentation and communication with healthcare teams
- Managing both routine and complex care delivery needs for your caseload
