Occupational Therapist in Herrin, IL

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Combination of two weekday shifts and two weekend shifts
• Floating required between multiple hospital locations within the region
• Flexible shift options available if needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly and provide care in various acute care environments
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective team collaboration
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent documentation and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions for patients
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on strategies for rehabilitation and daily living
• Maintain up-to-date and thorough patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Safely float between assigned hospital locations as scheduled
• Contribute to discharge planning and post-acute care recommendations
