Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Combination of two weekday shifts and two weekend shifts
- Floating required between multiple hospital locations within the region
- Flexible shift options available if needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly and provide care in various acute care environments
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective team collaboration
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent documentation and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions for patients
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on strategies for rehabilitation and daily living
- Maintain up-to-date and thorough patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Safely float between assigned hospital locations as scheduled
- Contribute to discharge planning and post-acute care recommendations
