Deliver essential occupational therapy services in a hospital setting, providing compassionate care across multiple locations. Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Two weekday shifts and two weekend shifts
- Flexible shift options available
- Will float between various hospital sites
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous hospital-based therapy experience preferred
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different departments and work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficient with electronic medical record systems and documentation
- CPR certification
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans suited to a diverse patient population
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to promote recovery, mobility, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure optimal, coordinated care
- Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment strategies as needed
- Educate patients and caregivers about ongoing rehabilitation and wellness strategies
- Maintain accurate records, adhering to all organizational and regulatory requirements
- Float as needed between hospital locations to meet departmental needs and ensure consistent high-quality care
