Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license
  • Previous hospital-based experience is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of therapy assessments and patient care planning
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Adaptability and a compassionate approach to patient needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient goals
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to help patients improve function and adapt to physical limitations
  • Record and report progress, updating treatment approaches as needed
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, adaptive equipment, and post-discharge health strategies
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care, progress, and discharge planning
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and documentation requirements
