Advance your career as an Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting, delivering impactful therapy services across multiple departments. This contract role requires adaptability and a passion for patient-centered care, as you will provide treatment at three local facilities, ensuring a broad and rewarding experience.

Schedule:

  • 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours
  • Includes 2 weekday shifts and 2 weekend shifts
  • Flexibility on shifts can be accommodated

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license (OTR/L)
  • Experience in hospital-based therapy; recent acute care preferred
  • Confident working with diverse patient populations
  • Ability to float between multiple facilities as required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy interventions for patients with acute and chronic conditions
  • Coordinate treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Educate patients and families to ensure optimal recovery and promote independence
  • Document patient progress according to hospital and regulatory standards
  • Adapt quickly to different hospital departments and patient care needs
  • Maintain professional standards and adhere to all safety protocols
