Seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services in a hospital environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for candidates eager to make an impact supporting diverse patient populations across multiple hospital settings.
Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Includes two weekday shifts and two weekend shifts
- Flexibility on shifts can be accommodated as needed
- Will float between several hospital locations as required by patient needs
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Previous experience delivering Occupational Therapy services in a hospital setting
- Strong assessment, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to different hospital environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement therapy treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and adjust therapy strategies as necessary
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home programs, and expected outcomes
- Float between multiple hospital sites based on operational needs to ensure optimal patient coverage
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines
