Occupational Therapist in Marion, IL

Make a difference as a valued Occupational Therapist providing essential therapy services in a hospital environment. In this contract opportunity, you’ll support a diverse patient population and gain valuable experience across multiple hospital sites. Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Two weekday shifts and two weekend shifts
• Daytime hours, with flexibility on shift scheduling when needed

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients requiring occupational therapy in an acute care hospital setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support patient progress
• Document patient interventions, goals, and outcomes accurately and timely
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure coordinated care
• Float between designated hospital sites to meet departmental needs and provide comprehensive services

Qualifications:

• Current, valid Occupational Therapist license
• Experience working as an OT in a hospital environment required
• Strong clinical evaluation, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Adaptability to rotating between hospital sites as needed
