An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy services to K-12 students. This full-time, contract role runs from ASAP through the end of the year and focuses on supporting student well-being and academic success through targeted interventions.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time
  • ASAP start, continuing through the end of the academic year

Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Experience with fine and gross motor skills development
  • Familiarity with K-12 settings, including previous work in schools or pediatric environments
  • Ability to collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA)
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, teachers, and families
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ functional needs and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver therapy services in accordance with established goals, focusing on improving students’ fine and gross motor skills
  • Work closely with school staff, administration, and other therapists to support student IEPs and educational plans
  • Monitor and document progress, adapting intervention strategies as needed
  • Provide guidance to COTAs and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Support teachers and families with tools and strategies for classroom and home use
