Apply NowAn exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy services to K-12 students. This full-time, contract role runs from ASAP through the end of the year and focuses on supporting student well-being and academic success through targeted interventions.
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time
- ASAP start, continuing through the end of the academic year
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience with fine and gross motor skills development
- Familiarity with K-12 settings, including previous work in schools or pediatric environments
- Ability to collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA)
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional needs and develop individualized therapy plans
- Deliver therapy services in accordance with established goals, focusing on improving students’ fine and gross motor skills
- Work closely with school staff, administration, and other therapists to support student IEPs and educational plans
- Monitor and document progress, adapting intervention strategies as needed
- Provide guidance to COTAs and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support teachers and families with tools and strategies for classroom and home use
