Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working in hospital or school settings
- Proficiency in fine and gross motor skill development interventions
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Experience supporting diverse student populations is highly desirable
Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Immediate start through the end of the school year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs and best practices
- Evaluate, assess, and document students’ progress in areas such as fine and gross motor skills
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Adapt and modify activities to facilitate student participation in classroom and school activities
- Maintain timely and accurate records, and participate in team meetings as needed
