Occupational Therapist | Murphysboro, Illinois

This contract position requires an adaptable professional ready to float among multiple hospital sites to deliver quality care. The opportunity offers a diverse schedule that includes two weekday shifts and two weekend shifts, each consisting of 10-hour shifts. There is flexibility on shifts to help accommodate your needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapist license
• Previous experience in hospital-based therapy strongly preferred
• Ability to float between multiple hospital sites as needed
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of acute care therapy protocols
• Team-oriented approach with a commitment to patient-centered care

Schedule & Hours:

• 4 shifts of 10 hours each per week
• 2 weekday shifts and 2 weekend shifts
• Flexibility in scheduling is available

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for hospital patients
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to achieve patient goals
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and progress
• Provide patient and family education to promote ongoing recovery and quality of life
• Flex between different hospital locations to support coverage and patient needs
