Play a key role in delivering outstanding therapeutic care to patients in a hospital setting, supporting their journey toward greater independence and improved quality of life. This contract position requires an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) ready to provide comprehensive therapy services while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. Your adaptability and clinical expertise will be vital as you rotate between several hospital sites and work varying shift schedules to meet the needs of the department.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Includes two weekday shifts and two weekend shifts
  • Flexible shift options available if needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment programs for patients with a variety of conditions in the hospital setting
  • Deliver hands-on therapy focused on improving patient function and participation in daily activities
  • Document and update patient progress in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to achieve optimal therapy outcomes
  • Float between assigned hospital sites to support patient needs and OT coverage as directed
  • Provide patient and family education to support therapy goals and safe discharge plans

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Current license to practice Occupational Therapy
  • Strong clinical background in a hospital environment preferred
  • Excellent communication and patient-education abilities
  • Ability to travel between multiple hospital sites as needed
  • Capacity to adapt to fast-paced, changing clinical scenarios
