Professionals in this role will serve adult patients in an outpatient environment, focusing on hand therapy—a specialty where your expertise is in high demand. Schedule/Hours:

  • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current NY State Occupational Therapy Registration (NYSOP OTR)
  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hand therapy
  • Prior experience with adult populations, ideally 8–12 patients per shift
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Gray scrubs required

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for patients needing hand therapy
  • Work with adult outpatients to increase function, mobility, and independence
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on ongoing care and injury prevention
