Schedule/Hours:
- Two assignment options: Guaranteed 36 hours/week (meeting productivity requirements) or Non-Guaranteed hours (flexible caseload, some weekend/weeknight coverage)
- Coverage may require traveling within Oakland and surrounding East Bay areas
Qualifications:
- Current California Occupational Therapist license
- Valid BLS certification
- Active driver’s license, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
- TB clearance (annual), MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap (within 10 years), Flu (annual), and Drug Screen
- Physical exam clearance
- Home health or hospital OT experience is a plus; new grads welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage caseloads for adult patients in home health settings
- Complete patient evaluations, develop care plans, and deliver therapies
- Document visits thoroughly and maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure timely communication with team members, physicians, and patients
- Adapt to changing schedules and travel needs, including covering a wide county territory
- Provide weekend or after-hours care as needed
