Travel Occupational Therapist in Palisade, CO

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient needs in areas such as independent living, community reintegration, functional cognitive retraining, upper extremity function, perceptual activities, and assistive equipment use.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patient outcomes.
• Deliver skilled interventions including splinting and positioning techniques to support patient recovery.
• Effectively supervise and delegate tasks to students, therapy assistants, and technicians within scope of authority.
• Regularly reassess patient progress and revise treatment goals as needed.
• Uphold organizational mission, vision, and values, maintaining high standards of professional service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and departmental operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapist licensure with proven hospital-based therapy experience.
• Strong skills in cognitive retraining, upper extremity rehabilitation, and use of assistive devices.
• Ability to assess, plan, and execute patient-centered treatment programs effectively.
• Experience in supervising therapy staff and students is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
