Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for both in-patient and out-patient clients, maintaining a balanced caseload.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop individualized treatment plans focused on maximizing patient independence and function.
  • Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and care summaries in accordance with hospital policy.
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities and home exercise programs to facilitate ongoing progress.
  • Participate in care team meetings and contribute professional input to support overall patient care initiatives.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to accomodate shifting priorities and patient caseloads throughout the week, including weekends.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in good standing.
  • Previous experience supporting both in-patient and out-patient populations required.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hospital setting and adapt to variable scheduling, including weekends.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
