Schedule

  • 4 x 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Every 3rd weekend required
  • Holiday rotation integrated with permanent staff

As an Occupational Therapist in the Rehab department, you’ll work alongside talented teams in PT, OT, and Speech, taking part in a collaborative atmosphere focused on patient-centered care. The facility utilizes Cerner EMR, ensuring a tech-forward approach, and offers a supportive leadership structure with accessible management and experienced aides. Dress comfortably in provided polo or button-down shirts, paired with solid, dark pants.

Qualifications

  • Active California Occupational Therapist license
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years’ OT experience (including 1 year in acute care hospital)
  • Experience in hospital/rehabilitation therapy settings
  • Adaptability and a commitment to high-quality care
  • Openness to first-time travel assignments welcomed

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive OT services to diverse patient populations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
  • Document using Cerner EMR efficiently and thoroughly
  • Integrate into rotating weekend and holiday schedules
  • Participate in concise 8-hour floor orientation
