Schedule/Hours:

  • Variable schedule—some weekend shifts required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, valid OT license (state requirements must be met)
  • Proven experience in both inpatient and outpatient therapy settings preferred
  • Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Excellent communication and patient engagement abilities
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and collaborative care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to diverse patient populations
  • Split caseload evenly between inpatient and outpatient departments, adapting care to each setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient function and independence
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic processes, exercises, and home strategies
  • Assist with discharge planning as needed
