Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license
  • Previous clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of therapy methods, patient assessments, and care planning
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments to determine patient abilities and therapeutic needs
  • Design and implement individualized treatment programs to promote mobility, independence, and quality of life
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic processes and home exercise plans
  • Document evaluations, progress, and discharge summaries in accordance with hospital protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists to optimize treatment plans and coordinate patient care
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and ethical standards
