Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license or eligibility in Michigan
• Experience in both acute and outpatient therapy settings preferred
• Able to supervise OT Assistants, Aides, and students per regulatory standards
• Competency in Microsoft Windows and electronic documentation systems
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary teamwork and patient education

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs using formal and informal measures (skeletal, neurological, respiratory, developmental, and cognitive)
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment goals based on comprehensive assessments
• Submit and coordinate treatment plans with physicians
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on conditions, prognosis, and treatment rationale
• Recommend adaptive equipment and coordinate procurement
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in accordance with all policies
• Provide case management and participate in interdisciplinary meetings
• Foster team development and contribute to process improvement and community outreach
