Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid and current license as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience in a hospital or acute care environment required
  • Strong understanding of therapy treatment plans and protocols
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • CPR certification (preferred)
  • Dedication to evidence-based practice and patient outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement comprehensive occupational therapy programs for patients
  • Develop individualized treatment goals to maximize independence
  • Perform regular patient evaluations and adapt interventions as needed
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercises
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and legal standards
  • Partner with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care
  • Stay up to date on therapy best practices and contribute to a positive clinical environment
