Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
• Acute care and outpatient therapy experience preferred
• Competency in Microsoft Windows and willingness to participate in ongoing technology training
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Comfort overseeing OT Assistants and Aides, and guiding students when needed
• Adaptability to handle physical demands and stressful situations

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient function using formal and informal testing methods
• Develop, document, and update individualized treatment plans in consultation with physicians
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers
• Supervise OT Assistants, Aides, and students as per standards
• Recommend and coordinate adaptive/supportive equipment
• Exhibit effective verbal and written communication across all care teams
• Participate in process improvement and program development
• Foster education and development among staff and the broader community
