Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- Flexible shifts available to accommodate your needs
- Will float between Herrin, Memorial, and St. Joseph’s hospital campuses
Qualifications/Experience:
- Current and active Occupational Therapy license
- BLS certification required for all locations
- NIHSS certification required for most areas
- ACLS certification required for ICU, PCU, Step Down, Med/Surg, and Emergency Departments at Herrin, Memorial, and St. Joseph’s
- PALS and TNCC certifications required for Emergency Departments at Harrisburg, Herrin, Memorial, and St. Joseph’s (as applicable)
- Advantageous to possess CSU-ALS for ICU roles at Memorial
- Strong adaptability and ability to work in a variety of hospital environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to a diverse patient population
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient-centered care plans
- Flexibly float to multiple facilities, gaining broad experience across acute care, rehab, and medical-surgical settings
- Accurately document patient progress and interventions in line with hospital standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and uphold best practices in patient care
