Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS may be required or preferred depending on the department
- Experience in hospital-based therapy is highly desirable
- Strong adaptability and willingness to float across different hospital sites
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality occupational therapy services across acute care, rehab, and med/surg settings
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards
- Participate in departmental meetings, inservices, and quality improvement initiatives
