Qualifications:
- Valid occupational therapy license for Ohio (or eligibility)
- Minimum of one year of hospital-based occupational therapy experience preferred
- Commitment to high standards of professionalism, appearance, attendance, and punctuality
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess functional levels and develop patient-centered treatment plans
- Deliver superior quality care with an emphasis on safety in handling, infection control, and work environment
- Participate in discharge planning, patient/family education, and adaptive equipment recommendations
- Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with departmental policies
- Mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), students, and new staff
