Qualifications:

  • Valid occupational therapy license for Ohio (or eligibility)
  • Minimum of one year of hospital-based occupational therapy experience preferred
  • Commitment to high standards of professionalism, appearance, attendance, and punctuality
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess functional levels and develop patient-centered treatment plans
  • Deliver superior quality care with an emphasis on safety in handling, infection control, and work environment
  • Participate in discharge planning, patient/family education, and adaptive equipment recommendations
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with departmental policies
  • Mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), students, and new staff
  • Actively engage in interdisciplinary team meetings, quality assurance initiatives, and conference participation
  • Foster a service-driven attitude toward patients, visitors, and colleagues
