Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for assigned patients
• Utilize clinical reasoning to create and adapt treatment plans and discharge goals
• Ensure medical record documentation is accurate, clear, and timely
• Educate patients, families, students, and peers on relevant therapy concepts and care plans
• Safely delegate and direct therapy services for assigned caseloads
• Champion and model safe patient handling and infection control protocols
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
• Maintain up-to-date licensure and fulfill all compliance and continuing education requirements
• Uphold professional and organizational standards, including the Code of Conduct
• Engage in student supervision and mentorship as assigned

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) or eligibility to obtain before start
• BLS certification preferred
• Previous experience in a hospital outpatient therapy setting is an asset
• Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork abilities
