Physical Therapist in Alachua, FL

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Physical Therapist to provide essential care within a hospital environment. This role involves delivering high-quality therapy services to patients as part of a dedicated healthcare team in a dynamic setting.

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients to identify physical limitations and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Implement therapies that restore function and minimize pain, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Document all patient interactions and progress in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary care teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and expected results.
• Adapt treatment methods as needed to meet patients’ evolving needs and responses.
• Participate in case conferences and contribute to care planning discussions.

Qualifications:

• Current, valid license as a Physical Therapist.
• Previous experience in a hospital setting is strongly preferred.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• CPR certification (must be current).
