This travel Physical Therapy assignment places you within a reputable, patient-focused hospital renowned for its excellence in neurosciences, cardiovascular care, and as a top teaching facility. With a 42-bed inpatient rehab unit and supportive leadership including a Director, Lead PTs, Physical and Occupational Therapists and Assistants, you’ll gain excellent experience in an advanced clinical environment. Exposure to a variety of patient populations—orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and med/surg—will expand your clinical acumen and strengthen your skill set. Collaborating with seasoned professionals and experiencing different hospital practices will enhance your adaptability and provide opportunities for learning different leadership approaches.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift, 8-hour shifts
• No on-call requirements
• One weekend per month (with weekdays off to balance)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active BLS certification
• Minimum one year of recent hospital-based acute care, inpatient rehab, or SNF experience
• DPT preferred
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced team dynamic
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and compassionate patient care skills
• Must be comfortable with grey scrubs (strict dress code)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services to diverse inpatient populations
• Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds
• Adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and hospital protocols
• Utilize equipment including treadmills, resistance bands, and therapy beds
• Adhere to documentation standards using the Meditech EMR system
