As a crucial part of the therapy team, you’ll:
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel-based assignment (locations: Chelsea to Revere in July)
- Full-time hospital schedule (specifics provided during assignment)
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based physical therapy, restoring patient function and aiding adaptation to disabilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and modify care plans, and track outcomes for optimal results
- Implement manual therapy, supervised exercises, and patient/family education
- Accurately complete documentation and billing each day
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to champion quality improvement initiatives
- Provide guidance and supervision to physical therapist assistants in alignment with organizational and state guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited program (DPT required for licensure since 2016)
- Active Physical Therapist license and current BLS certification
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent hospital, rehab, or ambulatory experience
- Background in orthopedic physical therapy
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and strong communication, teaching, and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with medical terminology and accreditation standards
