Step into a dynamic hospital environment providing high-quality physical therapy services within a 42-bed inpatient rehab unit. Work collaboratively with experienced Directors, Lead PTs, and a dedicated multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care to a diverse population including orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general med/surg patients.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shifts, 8 hours
- One weekend per month (with weekdays off to balance)
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in hospital acute care, inpatient rehab, or skilled nursing facility settings
- Strong background in patient assessment and hands-on therapy, including DPT degree (preferred)
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR
- Ability to flex schedule per surgical volumes and participate in weekend and holiday rotations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient therapeutic interventions to optimize mobility, function, and recovery
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PTs, PTAs, OTs, and departmental leadership
- Use treatment beds, resistance bands, treadmills, and other modern equipment to meet patient goals
- Accurately document care and progress using Meditech
- Address the needs of patients from varying backgrounds, including complex post-operative and acute care cases
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and excellent time management
- Uphold the dress code: Grey scrubs required, maintaining a professional appearance at all times
