A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Physical Therapist eager to make a difference in an established hospital setting. This role focuses on providing therapeutic care to a diverse inpatient population within a busy, 42-bed IP Rehab unit alongside a dedicated team of therapists and assistants.
Schedule:
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts
- Required to work one weekend per month; receive weekdays off to maintain work-life balance
- No on-call responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Active BLS certification
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in hospital acute care, inpatient rehab, or skilled nursing facility settings
- Ability to adapt to varied day shift hours
- Strongly preferred: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Team-oriented, compassionate, technologically adept, and able to manage time effectively
- Critical thinking and direct patient care experience required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver inpatient physical therapy to patients with orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general med/surg diagnoses
- Utilize various equipment (treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, and exercise bikes)
- Collaborate closely with a supportive interdisciplinary care team, including directors, lead PT, PTAs, and OTs
- Document using Meditech EMR
- Participate in a flexible scheduling system based on patient volume, weekends, and holiday rotations

- Grey scrubs required; attire must be professional—jeans, leggings, and open-toed shoes are not acceptable
