As a traveling Physical Therapist, you'll begin your assignment at the Chelsea location and transition to the Revere location in July. You'll play a pivotal role in helping patients achieve their maximum physical potential, focusing on personalized care, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. This position is ideal for those eager to contribute to high-quality patient care while continuing their professional growth.
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time day shift hours
- Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend coverage as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelor’s or Master’s for pre-2016 licensure; Doctorate for 2016 and later)
- Active Physical Therapist license
- BLS certification
- 1-2 years of hospital, rehab, or ambulatory Physical Therapy experience
- Orthopedic physical therapy experience
- Proficiency in medical terminology and Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
- Strong communication, teaching, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
- Document goals, progress, and reevaluation plans
- Provide manual therapy, exercises, and training in assistive devices
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Monitor and adjust treatments to maximize patient outcomes
- Supervise PTAs per policy and state regulations
- Accurately complete documentation and billing daily
- Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives
