Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license
• Demonstrated experience in hospital-based physical therapy

• CPR certification preferred
• Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy treatments to maximize strength, function, and independence
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate comprehensive rehabilitation plans
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapy goals, home exercises, and ongoing care
• Accurately document assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries according to hospital policy
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust therapy strategies based on patient response
• Stay updated on new therapy research, equipment, and best practices to elevate patient outcomes
