Travel Physical Therapist in Capron, VA

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
• On-call rotation every 4th weekend for inpatient coverage

Desired Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelor’s required, doctorate preferred)
• Active, current Physical Therapy license for the State of Virginia
• Demonstrated competency through ongoing education, in-services, and learning opportunities
• CPR Certification (current and unexpired)
• Previous outpatient and/or hospital therapy experience preferred
• Specialty certification (OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, or Women’s Health) a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement patient-centric Physical Therapy services in accordance with professional standards and state laws
• Manage a caseload of approximately 7-8 patients per day
• Utilize both standardized and non-standardized assessment tools
• Develop individualized treatment plans considering patient age, diagnosis, and goals
• Collaborate with the patient, family, caregivers, and broader healthcare team to promote best outcomes and discharge planning
• Adjust interventions as needed based on patient progress and response to treatment
• Educate patients and families, and participate in fitness/wellness programs and community initiatives
• Engage in ongoing process improvement and professional education
