Travel Physical Therapist - Capron, VA

This travel opportunity places you primarily in an outpatient clinic with some coverage for a small med/surg unit and occasional same-day total knee surgeries. Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call: Every 4th weekend for inpatient coverage

Desired Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (minimum Bachelor’s; Doctorate preferred)
• Active Physical Therapy license in Virginia (required at submission)
• Valid CPR certification
• Specialty certifications (OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, Women’s Health) a plus

Your Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and interventions for outpatient, occasional med/surg, and same-day surgery patients (7–8 per day on average)
• Collaborate with patients, families, and medical teams to optimize functional outcomes
• Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans for a diverse population, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Educate and support patients and caregivers, ensuring open communication and effective discharge planning
• Participate in clinical education, community wellness programs, and continuous professional development
• Contribute to process improvement and uphold exceptional care standards
