Travel Physical Therapist - Capron, Virginia

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• On-call rotation: every 4th weekend (inpatient care coverage)

Step into a role where your expertise in physical therapy will serve a diverse patient mix at a primarily outpatient clinic—with periodic coverage of a med/surg unit and same-day surgery. Experience collaborative care as you evaluate, plan, and implement customized treatment programs to help patients regain optimal function.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled physical therapy evaluations and interventions for various patient populations, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, as well as pediatrics as needed
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, utilizing both standardized and non-standardized tests
• Develop, adjust, and implement individualized care plans; involve families/caregivers in care planning
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in discharge planning, patient and caregiver education, and community wellness programs
• Engage in professional development, continuing education, and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate records, comply with all regulatory and facility standards

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred); graduate of an accredited PT program
• Active Physical Therapy license in the State of Virginia upon submission
• Current CPR certification
• Specialty certifications such as OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, or Women’s Health a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt to various care settings
