A skilled physical therapist is needed on a contract basis to provide therapy services in a hospital setting. Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Experience providing therapy in an inpatient or acute care hospital setting strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and rehabilitation techniques
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and provide patient education
- Ability to effectively assess, plan, and implement patient-centered treatment plans
- Current CPR certification required
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Deliver patient-centered therapy sessions to improve mobility, function, and quality of life
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and adaptive techniques
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to achieve optimal therapy outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to maximize recovery
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times
