Qualifications:

  • Current, valid Physical Therapist license
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Previous experience in a hospital or similar acute care setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interprofessional teams
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients’ physical abilities and limitations to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to restore function, improve mobility, and alleviate pain
  • Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with medical staff
  • Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to continue therapy outside of sessions
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to discharge planning
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, professional standards, and regulatory guidelines
