Schedule/Hours:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- On call every 4th weekend for inpatient coverage
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (Doctorate preferred)
- Current, active Physical Therapy license in the State of VA
- CPR certification required
- Specialty certifications (e.g., OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, Women’s Health) are a plus
- Experience in hospital and/or outpatient settings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement physical therapy services for patients across the continuum of care
- Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize functional outcomes
- Assess progress using standardized and non-standardized tools
- Provide education and discharge planning to patients and caregivers
- Actively participate in clinical education and community fitness/wellness initiatives
- Maintain professional development through ongoing education and peer collaboration
