Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
  • On call: Every 4th weekend for inpatient care

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapy license in the State of Virginia (required prior to submission)
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; Doctorate preferred
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Specialty certifications such as OCS, SCS, NDT, or Lymphedema are advantageous
  • Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and surgical patient populations preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for a diverse patient mix (7–8 patients per day on average)
  • Provide skilled physical therapy in outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to maximize functional outcomes
  • Administer and modify treatment plans based on patient response and clinical guidelines
  • Educate patients and caregivers, and assist with discharge planning and community resources
  • Participate in clinical education and process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain professional competency via continuing education and in-service opportunities
