As a traveling Physical Therapist in a hospital outpatient setting, you’ll experience a diverse patient population and gain exposure to leading practices in orthopedic, neurological, and general debility care. Collaborating in a team-focused environment, you'll contribute to patient recovery using advanced rehabilitation equipment such as Ultrasound, E-stim, and Lite Gait systems, enhancing your clinical toolset. This assignment provides valuable career-building experiences, allowing you to broaden your resume, adapt to different care models, and develop new perspectives by working alongside experienced healthcare leaders.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 7:45 am – 4:15 pm
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- No weekends or call requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid State Physical Therapist License and current CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, preferably outpatient orthopedics
- Strong skills in neuro, balance, pain management, and generalized therapy
- Adaptable and team-oriented personality
- Proficiency in Epic (EMR)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 treatment to patients with orthopedic, neurological, and general rehabilitation needs
- Deliver therapy services at both RS and WF outpatient locations based on patient volume
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in EMR and CBT onboarding upon arrival
- Adhere to dress code and maintain a professional, patient-focused demeanor
