Physical Therapist - Derby, Kansas

Step into a dynamic inpatient rehabilitation environment within a modern, 41-bed facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology, a Vector unweighted system, and a full IADL kitchen to support patient outcomes. Schedule:

• 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 8-hour shifts
• Rotating weekends

Qualifications:

• Active and current Physical Therapy (PT) license
• Valid BLS certification
• Acute inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• Neuro certification or neuro rehab experience is a plus
• Experience with ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, gym equipment, and vital sign machines
• Familiarity with Meditech Magic EMR is advantageous
• Strong teamwork orientation and adaptable to flexible start/stop times

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient assessment, evaluation, and daily treatment
• Deliver high-quality gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training
• Track therapy time and charges to ensure compliance with inpatient rehab requirements (3 hours per patient, per day)
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary therapy team (PT, OT, SLP) and daily staff of 15-20
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient documentation using EMR
• Contribute to a supportive, hands-on care environment, adapting to patient and unit needs
