An exciting opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to contribute to a dynamic inpatient rehabilitation team at a newly established 41-bed facility in Derby, KS. This contract role focuses on delivering comprehensive therapy services in a state-of-the-art environment that supports advanced patient care and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver daily therapeutic interventions including gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver education.
  • Utilize specialized equipment such as ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer tools, and gym apparatuses.
  • Accurately document treatment times and progress according to unit guidelines and EMR protocols.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team to meet patient-centered goals.
  • Maintain flexibility with scheduling to accommodate rotating weekend shifts and variable treatment times.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current Physical Therapist licensure in good standing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
  • Neuro rehabilitation certification or experience considered a strong asset.
  • Adaptability and a team-oriented mindset with hands-on clinical skills.
