Qualifications:

• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage patients and collaborate with healthcare team members
• Ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and needs
• CPR certification required

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient physical abilities and create individualized treatment plans to address rehabilitation goals
• Administer therapy interventions to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
• Document patient progress, update care plans, and maintain accurate records according to hospital guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and home-care strategies
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement within the therapy department
