Key Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Previous experience in acute care and/or hospital therapy settings strongly preferred
  • Solid assessment, planning, and intervention skills for individualized patient care
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, physicians, and colleagues
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and customer service excellence

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold exemplary customer relations for all patients, visitors, and medical staff
  • Assess patient needs using historical data, physical examination, observation, and analysis of diagnostic results
  • Develop individualized therapeutic care plans that address holistic and age-specific patient requirements
  • Deliver physical therapy interventions in accordance with physician directives and best practice standards
  • Ensure consistent Hourly Rounds and provide care with compassion and respect
  • Adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols, utilizing appropriate equipment for patient and staff safety
  • Contribute to departmental efficiency; may step into lead roles as needed
  • Mentor and precept newer staff, supporting departmental growth and best practice initiatives
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and goal-setting to advance expertise
