Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Previous experience in acute care and/or hospital therapy settings strongly preferred
- Solid assessment, planning, and intervention skills for individualized patient care
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, physicians, and colleagues
- Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and customer service excellence
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold exemplary customer relations for all patients, visitors, and medical staff
- Assess patient needs using historical data, physical examination, observation, and analysis of diagnostic results
- Develop individualized therapeutic care plans that address holistic and age-specific patient requirements
- Deliver physical therapy interventions in accordance with physician directives and best practice standards
- Ensure consistent Hourly Rounds and provide care with compassion and respect
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols, utilizing appropriate equipment for patient and staff safety
- Contribute to departmental efficiency; may step into lead roles as needed
- Mentor and precept newer staff, supporting departmental growth and best practice initiatives
- Engage in ongoing professional development and goal-setting to advance expertise
