Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate assigned patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in line with patient needs, goals, and physician directives.
- Direct, delegate, and oversee all PT therapy services, ensuring exceptional and safe patient care.
- Design functional and community-oriented therapy programs to promote effective patient return to daily activities.
- Provide education to patients, families, students, and colleagues.
- Perform thorough and timely medical documentation in compliance with all regulatory guidelines and facility policies.
- Serve as a positive role model, upholding organizational values and a strong safety culture, including infectious disease control, safe materials and patient handling, and accident prevention.
- Support student clinical learning experiences and actively foster your own professional development.
- Comply with state practice acts, professional codes of conduct, and maintain current licensure and required continuing education.
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license, or eligibility to obtain in IL.
- Recent hospital-based or comparable therapy experience preferred.
- Demonstrated clinical reasoning with strong communication and time management skills.
- Commitment to safety, ethical practice, and ongoing professional growth.
