As a Physical Therapist in an advanced inpatient rehabilitation hospital, you'll work in a dynamic, 60-bed setting dedicated to restoring hope and function for adults and older adults overcoming complex injuries or illnesses. This assignment enables you to deepen your clinical expertise—especially if you have experience in inpatient rehab or treating neurological diagnoses such as stroke—and to collaborate with an esteemed multidisciplinary team. You’ll gain exposure to a variety of leadership styles and best practices, expanding your professional toolkit and resume for future opportunities.

Schedule/Hours

• Monday–Friday with one weekend day per month and one comp day
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Weekend shift: 8 hours (one weekend per month)
• Patient load: ~6.5 treatments per 8-hour shift

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered physical therapy license
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience required
• Preferred background in neuro/CVA (stroke) care
• Ability to thrive working with adult and older adult populations

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy interventions for individuals recovering from severe injury or illness
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff in an interdisciplinary team
• Document patient progress efficiently using the facility’s electronic health record system
• Support patient and family education for ongoing care and recovery
