Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for assigned patients using clinical data and interdisciplinary communication.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized treatment plans aligned with Physical Therapy Practice Act standards.
- Recognize and address additional patient needs through sound clinical judgment, coordinating further testing or interventions as needed.
- Regularly reassess patient progress to update goals and therapy plans effectively.
- Select and facilitate the use of appropriate therapeutic equipment while involving patients and families in the process.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) in the state of Texas.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Experience working with orthopedic and neurological patients is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.
Schedule:
- Full-time, day shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Early closure on Fridays with a flexible option to make up time Monday through Thursday.
