As a Physical Therapist specializing in pediatrics, you’ll build your expertise by serving a variety of patient needs, from developmental delays and autism to orthopedic challenges and torticollis. This travel role allows you to expand your professional network and learn diverse practice styles while collaborating within a multidisciplinary therapy team. Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts: Monday through Thursday, 8am – 6pm (some flexibility, up to 40 hours/week)
- Flexible patient scheduling
- Rare weekend on-call coverage
Qualifications:
- Valid CO Physical Therapist license
- BLS certification required
- Pediatric therapy experience preferred (outpatient and early intervention)
- Comfort in fast-paced environments; ability to manage 8-10 patients/day
- Familiarity with developmental and orthopedic diagnoses
Responsibilities:
- Deliver outpatient pediatric therapy services, with occasional assistance in inpatient acute settings
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs
- Collaborate closely with a pediatric PTA, rehab aides, and supervisors
- Participate in department orientation and ongoing team training
- Utilize a warm water therapy pool when appropriate
- Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation
