Key Qualifications:

• Active, in-good-standing state license as a Physical Therapist
• Competency in therapy evaluation, treatment planning, and clinical documentation for an outpatient hospital setting
• Understanding of population served criteria and relevant hospital standards
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
• Adherence to state, federal, and practice act regulations
• Previous travel or hospital-based PT experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate assigned patients and design customized treatment plans focused on safe, effective outcomes and timely discharge
• Document all assessment, goal setting, and ongoing care in compliance with regulatory and organizational guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy aides, and other care team members
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific services for patients under your care
• Serve as an active educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers
• Champion patient and employee safety through situational awareness and adherence to best practices for safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety
• Participate in student mentorship programs and provide constructive feedback
