Experienced Physical Therapists are sought for a rewarding contract opportunity focused on outpatient orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation. This role is designed for skilled clinicians passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. Work within a well-established acute care environment supporting a diverse patient population, with the goal of achieving optimal functional outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
- Orientation dates available throughout the year (specific upcoming dates include January 1 & 19; February 2 & 16; March 2 & 16; April 6 & 20; May 4 & 18; June 1 & 15; July 6 & 20; August 3, 17 & 31; September 14; October 5 & 19; November 2 & 16; December 7)
- Assignment duration: Contract, with potential for extension
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Physical Therapy license (PT), in good standing
- Clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics and neurologic therapy preferred
- Previous work in a hospital setting is a strong plus
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- A patient-centered mindset, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic and neurologic conditions
- Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to maximize patient mobility, function, and quality of life
- Collaborate closely with referring physicians, therapy team members, and support staff
- Accurately document patient progress and modify care plans as needed
- Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation programs and injury prevention strategies
