Schedule & Hours

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm
• On-call: Every 4th weekend for inpatient coverage

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctorate preferred, Bachelor’s minimum)
• Current and active license as a Physical Therapist in Virginia (required upon submission)
• CPR certification
• Specialty certifications (OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, Women’s Health) preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement physical therapy interventions for outpatients, possible med/surg, and surgical recovery
• Serve an average of 7-8 patients daily across a variety of settings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families for optimal patient outcomes and discharge planning
• Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and staff
• Maintain competencies through ongoing education and participate in departmental process improvement
