Travel Physical Therapist | Franklin, Virginia

This role is primarily centered in an outpatient clinic environment, with additional responsibilities in a small med/surg unit and same-day surgery (total knees). With a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 to 4:30 and rotational on-call responsibilities every fourth weekend, you’ll have a steady routine while also having time to explore Franklin’s numerous parks, historic sites, and culinary gems.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• On call every 4th weekend (inpatient coverage)

Qualifications:

• Virginia Physical Therapy License required (active and in good standing)
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (minimum Bachelor’s; Doctorate preferred)
• Current CPR certification
• Certification in specialty areas (OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, Women’s Health) preferred

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions for outpatients and inpatients
• Manage a caseload of 7-8 patients per day
• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to discharge planning, goal-setting, and patient education
• Participate in ongoing professional development and process improvement initiatives
• Provide occasional community fitness/wellness instruction
