Working in a renowned hospital setting, you’ll collaborate with leaders in the field and gain exposure to a broad array of acute care cases—including ortho, total joints, ICU/ventilated patients, cardiology, oncology, and medsurg. Not only will you refine your existing skills, but you’ll also experience diverse workplace practices and leadership approaches, elevating your professional profile for future opportunities.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts (between 8:30am and 7pm; shift timing varies)
  • Monday–Friday daytime hours, may require an occasional weekend (with a weekday off if so)
  • Holiday coverage required
  • Schedules provided at least a month in advance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years acute care PT experience, with strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU/vented patients
  • Active California PT license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience working with varied patient populations (medsurg, telemetry, oncology, cardiology)
  • EMR proficiency, Cerner preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver inpatient physical therapy across units (medsurg, ICU, telemetry, cardiology, oncology)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in care for patients requiring post-surgical rehabilitation, ventilator support, and complex medical needs
  • Communicate progress and patient needs effectively with care teams and families
  • Contribute to a caring, patient-centered environment
